About the Fund
The Brascan Adjustable Rate Trust I is an investment trust established to provide unitholders with exposure to a portfolio comprised primarily of mortgage-backed securities ("MBS") with implied or actual AAA ratings issued or guaranteed by
US Agencies or issued by other financial institutions.

In addition, up to 20% may be invested in other investment grade mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities ("ABS"). The trust obtains tax effective distributions and and currency hedge through the use of a forward agreement.
